Yesterday sucked balls. And this past weekend? Oh, geez. I won't even go into details about my weekend. I'm so glad I don't have to relive the last 3 days over like the guy from the 5th (?) Hellraiser movie. Yowza. (Wasn't it only one day for him? I can't remember.)
Anyway. Enough of that. I'm embarking on a new adventure. I have a skin condition (Keratosis Pilaris) and did some research on it. Turns out, it is the result of food intolerance to wheat/gluten/dairy. Possibly some others, but I can't afford the testing. Those are just the biggies. So guess who's rearranging their life to eliminate all things containing those items?
This girl.
I'll also be cutting out nuts and soy. There are only two things I can eat in this entire house. Insert long, loud, dramatic sigh here.
There is a plus side to all this, though. Not only will I be eating better, my skin will clear up and I'll feel great. It really is true what they say, eat crappy and feel crappy.
A trip to the store is in order! I really, really, really hope this is worth it.
Are there any foods you're allergic to or intolerant of?
WOW! That food allergy totally sucks! Sorry to hear it, sweetie! Hopefully though, as you said, it'll get better once your diet changes! I actually just found out my sister is allergic to pork products. So yeah, that means no pork chops, bacon, etc for her. Can you imagine!? I'm so glad I don't have that. But, I digress. I hope this transition goes smoothly for you! Just remember to look at ALL the product info on the packages carefully! :) Lots of people live happy lives being gluten & dairy free! Good luck hun!
