The week isn't over yet and it's been crazy already. Sunday I was getting sick, Monday I stayed home from work because for most of the morning I couldn't even keep water down, then Tuesday I went back to work even though I should have stayed home, yesterday I had more puking, and today...well, it's Thursday, close enough to Friday. I'm almost done being sick, all that's left is a terrible cough.
Made some bad choices this week. Sunday I had a few slices of pizza. I was happy I didn't have half a pizza, I could do that easily. Monday I when I was sick I was craving mac and cheese, so I had some. Well, more like the whole box :( When I looked at the nutritional info I almost died. You don't even want to know how many calories I consumed. (Side note, I don't prepare it to box specs. I use extra butter and add sliced cheese to make it creamier.) Tuesday I didn't feel like cooking so we had Chinese. That wouldn't be so bad, if I hadn't eaten everything that was in my meal.
But yesterday I didn't over eat, didn't eat anything I shouldn't, and finally got back on track. Today I feel so much better. It's almost like my body was telling me it was disappointed in me. Clean foods make my body a happy body!
I've taken my experiences this week and I will learn from them. The next time I'm sick, it will be nothing but homemade soup. No ifs ands or butts!
