Okay, so I know the title is crazy. Sunday can't be lazy and busy all in one. Except, today it is. It's grey and gloomy out, with the occasional drizzle of rain making it a very lazy Sunday. The busy part is all the reading I'm doing for school. I have 5 chapters left today, then I have two tomorrow morning. Then homework the remainder of the week. This post is my little break in between chapters - I'll resume reading after lunch.
Hopefully I get done at a decent time so I can do the dishes and relax for the rest of the evening. That would be nice :)
Yesterday was okay. My husband and I went with my sister and her family to visit my grandfather. Like always we went to the airport restaurant. I had the salmon and it was quite nice. I have a feeling that salmon is turning into a new favorite of mine! After a bit of visiting we came home, had some popcorn and watched a movie. It was a wonderful way to end the day.
This morning was weigh in. Down only 1 pound. I'll take it though. Slow progress is better than no progress, and I have many gains to be thankful for so I shouldn't be hard on myself. I was going over my logs and it's been over a month since I've had a pop! It's also been over a month since I've had any fast food, anything fried/drenched/breaded/dipped/battered or slathered in grease. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.
Just goes to show that anything is possible. If I can do it? You definitely can do it.
I believe in you!!!!
Ah yes, it was quite a lazy Sunday weather wise. :) Too bad it wasn't actually for either of us! (Travis & I went to church and then went grocery shopping) Oh well! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, a MONTH without a pop!? YOU GO GIRL!! I totally could not do that, as you know I'm a Coca-Cola junkie! LOL! But, I have cut back on how much per day I drink, so that's got to count for something right? :)
1 pound is 1 pound girl! You should definitely take it and be proud! A loss is a loss, and that's what you want! ;) And good job on not having all that "nasty" stuff for over a month! I only wish I could say the same! Haha! But, I have to agree...Salmon is amazing! LOVE that darn fish! Hehe! :) Especially the way Travis makes it...mmm mmm mmm!
Anyway, great job girl and I'm so proud of you! :) Keep it up, and good luck with the schooling! Love ya!
Thank you so much! Hun, cutting back is still something to be proud of! And as for not having any junk, it's been really hard. Working across the street from Sonic is killer. LOVE me some Sonic tots!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I know you can do anything you set your mind out to do. Remember, anything is possible :) Love ya!
